Coleman Repellents is helping to prevent the spread of Zika

“Coleman Repellents has teamed up with  AmeriCares to help prevent the spread of Zika virus throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. We are making a monetary donation to help support the areas hardest hit by the virus, which includes the Americas and the Caribbean. The donation from Wisconsin Pharmacal is also being generously matched by their longtime supply partner, EMD Performance Materials Corp. (EMD). Coleman beating the bugs in the Amazon

More than half of the world’s estimated 10 million species of plants, animals and insects live in the tropical rainforests. One-fifth of the world’s fresh water is in the Amazon Basin, so there’s a lot of skeeters.

Our President and CEO decided to put our 100% Deet Coleman repellent to the test with Dr. Gary Herdrich, it passed with flying colors!

Relaxation

Bugsy 079CompIt’s Labor Day weekend, so Bugsy is taking some time to relax and enjoy the Great Outdoors. How about you? What are your plans for the weekend?

Leave a comment. We want to know how you’re spending the long holiday weekend!

Coleman Gear

Bugsy took some time to wander the aisles of Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in Salt Lake City to check out some of the hot, new products from Coleman®.  He stopped by Coleman Watches, Coleman Luggage, Coleman Trail Food, Coleman Outboard Motors, Coleman Socks, Coleman Apparel and Coleman Kayaks to check out some of the latest-and-greatest.

Here are a few snapshots…

Splashing Around in The Dells

Bugsy visited “The Waterpark Capital of the World” during his 2010 Independence Day Campground Tour. He took in all the big attractions during his stay in Wisconsin Dells, including the Original Wisconsin Ducks, Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park and Top Secret. He also stopped by the Noah’s Ark and the Tommy Bartlett Show.

Rumor has it Bugsy took a ride down a gigantic water slide, but we still have yet to find photographic evidence. We’ll keep searching.

Here are a few snapshots from Bugsy’s visit in Wisconsin Dells.

Independence Day Campground Tour

Bugsy and the Coleman® Repellents team “hit the road” Fourth of July week to spread the word about our line of insect repellents sold at these great retailers. The first stop was Baraboo Hills Campground in Baraboo, Wis. to meet with campers and give out free samples of our SkinSmart DEET-Free Repellent. Bugsy also raffled off some awesome Coleman gear. Check out photos from the event!
